Furthermore, underrepresentation of existing biodiversity in the literature has detract from conservation planning action. Between 18 29 October 2018, we surveyed terrestrial vertebrates East Rennell, a UNESCO World Heritage Site Solomon Islands. Rennell was designated site its significant on-going ecological biological processes, importance study island biogeography. The presented here provide evidence that continued field studies combined with DNA analysis will continue uncover even greater endemic biodiversity. is currently experiencing major habitat destruction parts not under protection, anticipate collateral damage likely extend into protected areas. Our survey also underscores incredible stands be lost unless actions local community needs intertwined promote beneficial outcomes on both fronts.
